Essential Functions

• Ensures all customers are educated on products and services.
• Answers customer questions about coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
• Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service.
• Accurately rings sales orders into POS system and counts back change to customers.
• Develops an understanding of coffee and tea regions and their various differences in flavor and blends.
• Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace for partners.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a high volume bar.
• Excellent customer service.
• Can be trusted to act truthfully and value direct, honest communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills; effective communication and relationship building.
• Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances.
• Manages projects and resources efficiently; multi-tasks and keeps order.
• Detail-oriented; works independently and/or in teams.
• Menu planning and development skills.
• Standing or walking for varying lengths of time.
• Lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
