About the role

As the Barista Lead, you will deliver exceptional customer service by preparing quality beverages, greeting and assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will train and guide staff in beverage and food preparation, customer service, and cash handling while ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS system and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Stock supplies and set up/break down the coffee station.
• Train and supervise staff in beverage and food preparation, customer service, and cash handling.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Successful barista experience.
• Cash handling skills and basic math abilities.
• Preferably supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
• Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Physical stamina for tasks involving standing, lifting, and movement.
