BARISTA (FULL TIME)
About the role
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate full-time BARISTA positions at Baptist Memphis. The position requires previous barista experience but is open to those willing to train. The role is located at 6019 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time with varying days and hours, including weekends and holidays. The pay range is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
- Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Maintains a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
- Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
- Serves food neatly and attractively per standard.
Qualifications
Previous barista experience is preferred. Willingness to train is required.
Skills
Must have strong attention to detail and follow HACCP guidelines. Must be able to interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.

Pay & Schedule
The pay range is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
