BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
Wolfgang Puck Catering is seeking immediate full-time and part-time BARISTA positions. The location is 9775 Towne Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. Online applications are accepted only. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, morning shift. More details will be provided during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
- Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
- Maintains a flexible mindset, wearing multiple hats as a strategic business partner.
- Provides a concierge mentality, acting with a bias to action and offering humble hospitality.
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
- Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
- Serves food neatly and attractively per standard.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Two years of customer service and barista experience is required.
Qualifications
Must be able to work flexible hours and follow HACCP guidelines.
Skills
Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential.

Pay
$20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.
Schedule
