BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
Fresh Ideas is seeking immediate full-time and part-time BARISTA positions at William Woods University in Fulton, MO. Online applications are accepted only. Shifts include PM hours. Fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Prepares espresso orders and enters orders into POS device
- Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and maintains cleanliness of service area
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
- Ensures proper food preparation and presentation
- Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Relays customer concerns to supervisors
- Serves food neatly and attractively per standard
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior barista experience is preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework in food service or hospitality recommended.
Skills
Knowledge of food safety and service standards, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a positive attitude are essential.
