Barista / Food Service Worker - Montlake

WORK SCHEDULE

Part-Time (50% FTE)
Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Monday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Position highlights

• Performs routine work in preparing and serving espresso beverages and food items and cleaning activities
• Performs a variety of duties in the preparation and service of espresso beverages and food items

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and espresso
• Weigh, prepare, and serve meals
• Clean work area and equipment
• Take cash payment for meals and drinks
• Operate cooking, espresso and kitchen equipment
• Assist in maintaining daily stock of work area and weekly inventory
• Perform related duties as required

Requirements

• Possession of, or eligible to obtain, a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
• One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration

Pay

Minimum: $21.70 hourly
Maximum: $24.97 hourly
