Barista CASUAL
This position will oversee assigned cafe functions including but not limited to: payment handling, product preparation and service and general cleanliness. In addition, this position will ensure that safety, sanitation, customer service and positive customer experiences are maintained at all times.

This position will oversee assigned cafe functions including but not limited to: payment handling, product preparation and service and general cleanliness. In addition, this position will ensure that safety, sanitation, customer service and positive customer experiences are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages utilizing blenders, coffer makers and grinders and espresso machines.
- Takes inventory, places orders, retrieves orders, and puts orders away.
- Runs cash register, retrieving initial bank of money, verifies amounts, balances out bank at the end of shift.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment and service areas.
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators and hot holding equipment.
- Description and promotion of items to customers in a positive and service-driven way.
- Serve and prepare hot and cold items.
- Routinely clean, straight and restock all food items and supplies.
- Sweep and mop floors retrieving trash and taking out to dumpster.
- Create signage daily as directed.
- Lock down café at end of meal service and return cash bag as directed.
Requirements
- Current Food Handlers card as required by the local County Health Department. If not current on hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire through ONE of the following: StateFoodSafety.com, Servsafe National Restaurant Association, Local County Health Department.
- High school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Six (6) months previous food services barista experience.

- Education, Certification, and/or Licensure: High school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Experience: Six (6) months previous food services barista experience.
