Responsibilities

• Customer focus: Create personalized experiences by demonstrating knowledge of coffee, products, and offers; actively recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight customers.
• Quality focus: Develop expertise in craft, maintain equipment and store environment, use appropriate routines, craft and serve only the highest-quality products, continually hone skills through learning and practice, and ensure food and merchandise are visually appealing, stocked, and signed appropriately.
• Team dedication: Contribute to team success, support others to do their best work, seek opportunities to recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight fellow baristas, follow policies and guidelines, and communicate important information to store leaders and the team in a timely manner.
• Operate and be responsible for cash register operations, following policies and procedures to ensure proper money handling and avoid cash overages or shortages.
• Perform general sanitation duties: follow cleaning schedules and department guidelines to maintain clean work areas, equipment, counters, display cases, and meet all health and OSHA requirements; dispose of trash properly.
• Assist with baling cardboard or other related duties if properly trained (training provided).
• Assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries using a power jack or hand jack if properly trained (training provided).
• Utilize all company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company-sponsored footwear.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
