Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, and serve coffee beverages based on recipes and record drink orders accurately.
• Receive and serve food and drink orders to guests seated at the bar, accept and process guest payment, and report cash and credit card gratuities to comply with IRS standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar, including the coffee station and bar tops; wash and sterilize glassware; set up and break down all bar items.
• Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, and report equipment problems or maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.

Requirements

• Positive energy and a team-player attitude, ready to assist fellow staff.
• At least one year of barista or similar experience (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
