Barista

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months experience working in food service environment.
• A high school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to read, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
• A Food Handlers Permit as required by law.
• Able to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
• Able to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check.
• Able to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time.

• $14.00 / Hour PLUS tips.
