The Barista's Role
The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in hospital kiosks. Will take customers’ orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers.
Hours
Rotating Shift / Limited
20 hourly weekly
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requirements
- Barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Training and certification required once hired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exchange information on factual matters
- Greet visitors
- Explain medical center policies in terms of cash handling, food preparation and safety if applicable.
Work Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in retail hospitality culinary experience required

- Salary Range: Minimum 16.25/hour - Maximum 26.77/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
