Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations on menu items.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, and assist with inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Upsell additional items, such as pastries or specialty drinks, to enhance guest experience and meet sales goals.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Adhere to hotel policies, brand standards, and food safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in food service is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
