Bare Wire Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Properly sets up and strings up the wire mills
• Operates the wire mills to draw copper and aluminum rods to the required dimensions at the proper speed and produce wire in various gages
• Stages and places coils, welding coils into coils in the take up

Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum Experience Required

• Two (2) years of related experience

License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required
