About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a barbershop Operations Assistant. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the barbershop. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the barbershop
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system
- Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and availability
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Sweep and tidy up the barbershop floor regularly
- Fold and organize towels and other linens
- Assist barbers with any administrative tasks as needed
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Manage inventory of retail products and restock as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Passion for making people’s days!
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and booking software
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
