Job Summary

Floyd's Barbershop, located in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a Barbershop Leader to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time opportunity with a commission-based salary structure and a chance to earn up to $126,000 annually.

About the Role

The Barbershop Leader will manage daily operations, mentor the team, and ensure exceptional client experiences. They will also handle scheduling, inventory, and financial oversight, leading team meetings and collaborating with district leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and client interactions
• Mentor and coach barbers and stylists
• Schedule and manage staff
• Oversee inventory and financials
• Lead team meetings and collaborate with district leaders
• Solve challenges on the fly to maintain smooth operations

Requirements

• Active Maryland cosmetology or barber license
• 3+ years of experience as a barber or stylist in a fast-paced environment
• 3+ years of management experience in any industry OR 1+ years of management experience at a Floyd's Barbershop location
• Working knowledge of scheduling, inventory, hiring, and profit and loss practices
• Passion for promoting an uplifting, service-oriented culture and building a strong team
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and evenings/nights

Hours

This is a full-time position with the shop being busiest during evenings and weekends. A flexible schedule is required to support the barbers and stylists during these critical peak hours.
