About the role
Milan Institute is seeking Barber Instructors to mentor, teach, and motivate students in the Barber industry.
Responsibilities
- Teach, mentor, motivate, and coach students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using a company-approved curriculum.
- Prepare students to pass the State Board exam and ensure compliance with State Board rules.
- Participate in administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Current Barber license per State requirement.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience.
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Computer skills necessary.
Schedule
Day and Evening positions available, including a partial work-from-home/remote schedule.
