About the role

This is a part-time, on-site Cosmetologist/Barber role based in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. The Cosmetologist/Barber will perform clipper and scissor cuts, some styling such as braids and blowouts. Responsibilities

• Perform clipper and scissor cuts for children
• Provide basic styling services such as braids and blowouts
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards in the salon environment
• Communicate clearly with caregivers and children in a professional, friendly manner
• Work some weekend hours and manage time effectively on a part-time schedule

Requirements

• Valid state cosmetology or barber license
• Strong skills in cutting and basic styling for children
• Ability to work comfortably with children of various ages, demonstrating patience, empathy, and child-friendly communication
• Customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
• Availability to work part-time, including some weekend hours

Qualifications

• Experience in a kids’ salon or child-focused setting is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn Kinderland’s service standards and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment
