Barback (Part Time)
Job Description
The Barback is responsible for bar service equipment/supply maintenance and set-up. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar, service area, tables, chairs, barstools, storage cage, walk in cooler and soda/ice room during the shift. May perform bartending functions under supervision as business requires.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Worker/Health Card required.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness (TAM/AES) Card required.
- Valid LVMPD Non-gaming card required.
- Ability to work closely and efficiently with others.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must possess basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Completion of Bartending School and a valid POUR card preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- This position works primarily in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/or enclosed spaces.
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly.
- Ability to lift 45-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Visual ability needed to accurately measure ingredients for mixing drinks.
- Ability to move throughout the bar and back of house areas during the entire shift.
- Must be able to work in an environment with loud music, crowds for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the entire shift.

Work Schedule
Schedules are based on business needs. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require supervisory responsibility.
