Work Performed
- Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
- Stocks of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce.
- Maintains stock, cuts, and stores of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
- Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items.
- Keeps bar neat and clean.
- Assists security with disorderly guests.
- Removes the garbage at the end of the shift.
- Performs all other projects as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk during 8 to 10 hour shifts.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 40 pounds and place items on high and low shelves.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
Required Experience
- Work efficiently and as a team.
- Adequately adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed.
- Basic knowledge of liquor, beer & wine.
- Read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with bartender and managers.
Training & Experience
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant.
- Must be able to perform all related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to legally prove age of at least 21 years.
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
