About the role

As a Bar Beverage Attendant at SodexoMagic, you will support the bartender by maintaining a clean, well‑stocked bar environment and ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous service. The position involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting supplies, and requires adherence to health‑code standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as necessary to ensure an adequate supply.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks using a first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) system.
• Restock the bar or designated station with supplies and transport supplies to the bar set‑up area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration, and storage areas to comply with health‑code standards.
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as business necessities and client requirements dictate.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend according to local city and state regulations.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (shifts may exceed 8 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and frequently lift up to 35 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb).
