About the role

The Hotel Hershey is a luxury resort known for its refined elegance, signature services, and abundant amenities. This part-time position assists the bartender with daily operations of the Iberian Lounge, service bar, banquet bars, and poolside bar.

Responsibilities

• Carry supplies and equipment such as wine, spirits, fruits, ice, glassware, tables, and chairs.
• Help set up service bars and portable bars for parties.
• Clean debris and maintain order in bar areas.
• Clean all beverage areas.
• Deliver wines, spirits, and beer, obtaining required receipts.
• Keep all bars stocked.
• Prepare bar prep recipes as assigned by management.
• Back up bartender for the poolside bar.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Post-employment: RAMP Certification required.
• Previous bar experience is helpful.
• Must be well-groomed and cordial with guests.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Schedule

This is a seasonal position available for the summer season, beginning April/May. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Primarily 2nd shift, but hours may vary based on operational needs. This is a union position, and the work schedule will be based on union seniority.
