Schedule

• Part-time, event-based schedule
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• Must be able to work all Hawks home games

Requirements

• Desire to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry
• Outgoing personality preferred
• Ability to interact with high-profile guests and remain professional
• Dedication to providing an exceptional experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve, and make decisions with little guidance

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and actively engage physically with guests
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations
• Physical stamina and agility to be mobile for long periods throughout the day
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work with bartenders to ensure guests enjoy their time at the Player's Club and throughout the arena
• Receive all liquor, beer, and wine from storeroom daily and as needed
• Replenish all liquor, beer, and wine in the bar throughout the shift
• Retrieve needed food items from kitchen and deliver to bar area
• Retrieve needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to bar area
• Set up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf
• Ensure beer taps are working properly
• Place appropriate bar snacks on counter and keep supplies (snacks, napkins) stocked throughout shift
• Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned
• Bus tables in bar area
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas (wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, floors under equipment; sweep and mop service areas, including floor mats)
• Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles
• Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist bartender
• Perform other duties as assigned
