About the role
The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, a year-round, full-service restaurant located at Hersheypark, is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to maintain the bar areas and equipment and assist in the service of food and beverage to guests in a high-paced environment.
The Chocolatier serves up family fare with a fun spin, and hints of chocolate for lunch and dinner, and celebrates the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun, and of course, chocolate.
Responsibilities
- Setup, service of the bar, and storage areas
- Anticipate guests’ needs by answering questions pertaining to wine, liquor, and cocktail menus
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, refrigerators, and removal of trash
- Monitor shelves and coolers to ensure proper stocking of beer, wine, liquor, and other beverages
- Assist servers and bartenders with duties such as mixing drinks, serving guests, detailing, and breakdown of the bar area
- Assist with the inventory process on a monthly basis
- Assist with filling and delivering requisitioned products and equipment
- Maintain a commitment to exceptional guest service
- Restock the bar area with clean glasses and other accessories
- Assist the manager with liquor pick-ups as well as the ordering process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Post-Employment: RAMP certification
Skills
- Abide by all state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Demands
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
