Bar Back

Responsibilities

• Filling and maintaining ice wells for bartenders
• Restocking beer and liquor as needed
• Changing kegs as required
• Prepping, storing, rotating, and stocking all garnishes for the bartenders
• Ensuring that there is always adequate stock of necessary items before a bartender requests them

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform tasks such as bending, climbing, or working in confined spaces
• Written and verbal communication skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Help maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restocking and organizing beer coolers
