Bar Back

Responsibilities

• Filling and maintaining ice wells for bartenders
• Restocking beer and liquor as needed
• Changing kegs
• Prepping, storing, rotating, and stocking all garnishes for the bartenders
• Having a constant awareness of what's on hand in the bar and what's needed before a bartender runs out of anything

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal communication skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Help maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers
