Banquet Staff

We are hiring part-time event staff for our wedding season. Weekend availability, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 25 lbs are required. Must be able to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, break down, and clean up of all banquet events
• Provide professional and attentive service to all guests
• Maintain attention to detail and multi-task
• Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during, and after each event
• Handle food and drink service at banquet events
• Learn the menu of the event specified in the BEO
• Work well with others and demonstrate strong communication skills

Requirements

• Prior experience preferred
• Weekend availability
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to commute or relocate to Virginia Beach, VA 23451 (preferred)

Physical Demands & Abilities

• Frequent walking with some long periods of standing; possibly extended distances
• Ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Pay

$16.00 - $17.50 per hour, with supplemental pay types including tips.
