About the role

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is seeking applicants for the Banquet Setup Team. The Banquet Setup team will be responsible for setting up banquet and meeting space for all events. This position requires continual lifting and will be maintaining cleanliness of all work areas, assisting banquet staff with tables, chairs, and linens set-up.

Responsibilities

• Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
• Learn all banquet room locations
• Set up tables in assigned area correctly
• Maintain clean, organized work stations in the banquet and ballrooms as well as the back halls and storage areas
• Maintain banquet service equipment
• Other assignments as assigned by management
• While performing duties: stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or event set-up is a plus
• Must be at least 18 or older
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must adhere to all appearance standards, including but not limited to no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair and nail colors
