Banquet Set up Porter – Steady Extra

Responsibilities

• Moving furniture and stage platforms
• Lifting heavy objects such as chairs, tables, and dance floor sections
• Moving carts
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards & fire codes

Requirements

• Communicate in English, both in written and oral form
• Previous experience as a banquet set up porter preferred, but not required
• Ability to work consistently with tables and chairs and communicate with others and within a team environment
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and stressful environment with prolonged walking/standing
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time, push/pull up to 400 lbs. at a time; and handle heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, tuggers, fork lifts, etc.
• Able to work rotating shifts and be available to be on-call /standby for shift availability
• Valid Clark County Health card
• At least 18 years of age
