About the role
We are seeking an experienced Banquet Server to join our Banquet team.
Responsibilities
- Review event order to become familiar with menu and service order prior to start of function.
- Complete required set-up and preparation of function room/service area before scheduled activity.
- Inspect all equipment prior to, during, and at the end of each function; report any deviations from standards to Captain/Supervisor.
- Inventory materials and supplies at the beginning of shift; obtain quantities necessary to support forecasted business levels.
- Prepare coffee, iced/hot tea, and other beverages as required.
- Check all plates prior to service for accuracy, completeness, appearance, and presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, replenishing as needed.
- Monitor guests, anticipate needs, respond to requests, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption to prevent over-indulgence and ensure safety.
- Clear tables and break down function rooms after completion of banquet food service.
- Complete assigned end-of-shift duties.
- Assist other staff members to ensure optimum service to all guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Pay
$16.90 per hour
