Banquet Server (Part-Time) - Holiday Inn Express Elk Grove

Key Responsibilities

• Complete room set up.
• Maintain all guest tables, buffet tables, and equipment.
• Ensure all requests and needs are met, referencing BEOs.
• Provide guests with excellent customer service, and accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests.
• Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.
• Prepare the room for events (set table cloths, dishes, silverware as needed).
• Serve guests food and drinks during events as required.
• Answer questions related to the buffet or menu.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• One year restaurant or banquet experience a plus.
• Must have good knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, customer relations, and service standards.
• Well organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to analyze customer needs and assist in resolving any and all customer challenges.
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences.
• Food Handler Certificate.
