Banquet Server

Duties And Functions

• Aid in the setup and teardown of the banquet area.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitary practices.
• Predict and meet guests' needs, exceeding their service expectations.
• Stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass on important information regarding orders, allergies, and special requests.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in a professional appearance and manner.
• Follow instructions provided by the banquet manager.

Qualification Standards

• Previous experience in banquet or fine dining service is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and service.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the club's upscale image.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, as well as wine service.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy trays or equipment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations in a food service setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of safely lifting and easily maneuvering trays of food/beverage weighing up to 20-25 pounds.
