About The Role Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team and help bring some of Savannah’s most memorable events to life. From weddings and celebrations to corporate gatherings and private dinners, our Banquet Servers are part of the team responsible for turning a carefully planned event into an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys great hospitality, works well as part of a team, and understands that the details matter — from a beautifully set table to the timing of each course. The right person is approachable, dependable, comfortable engaging with guests, and ready to jump in wherever needed to make an event successful. This is a full-time position at Hotel Bardo Savannah. What You'll Do Set up banquet and event spaces according to event plans and Hotel Bardo service standardsProvide warm, professional food and beverage service throughout weddings, meetings, celebrations, and private eventsLearn event details and service expectations so you can confidently guide the guest experienceServe plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverage service with strong attention to timing and presentationWork closely with Banquet Captains, culinary teams, bartenders, and fellow servers to keep events running smoothlyAnticipate guest needs, respond quickly to requests, and handle changes with professionalismAssist with breakdown, resetting, and maintaining clean, organized event spacesFollow food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Qualifications Previous banquet, catering, full-service restaurant, or upscale hospitality experience preferredA genuine hospitality mindset and confidence interacting with guestsStrong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a teamAbility to stay organized and composed during busy, high-volume eventsProfessional appearance and a strong sense of personal responsibilityAbility to be on your feet for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of banquet serviceFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event scheduleReliable attendance and punctuality — banquet service depends on the entire team being ready when the event begins Why Bardo?
