What Success Looks Like

Leads all banquet events set up, execution, and service for all events at the club
Supervises team members assigned to events, providing coaching, direction aligned to club standards and event expectations
Maintains standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, handling, sanitation, and safety
Performs as a server or bartender during events
Acts as primary point of contact for event host, interpreting needs and preferences to inform service and culinary team
Communicates directly with the culinary team during service to convey timing expectations as (golf) event needs may shift
Coordinates the timing of each course to correspond with the dining pace of the guests
Partners with Chefs and F&B Manager to define vessels for event items, order of service, and presentation
Conducts a briefing or “line-up” with team members at the beginning of each shift to convey event and menu details and timing
Works to resolve guest issues and concerns as necessary

What You Bring

  • At least two years of experience in a high-volume, high-quality banquet or events service operation
  • Previous food & beverage supervisory experience
  • Basic computer literacy in the Point of Sale system and the sales and catering computer application
  • Current State Food Handling and Liquor Serving License(s)
  • Refined customer / guest service skills and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
