Banquet Cook

About the role

This is a hands-on kitchen position supporting the execution of high-volume plated meals, buffet service, and custom catering menus. The ideal candidate has experience in banquet-style production and is passionate about delivering quality food at scale with consistency and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items for weddings and private events (plated, buffet, and cocktail style)
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety standards
• Work closely with the culinary team to support prep, setup, and service for events
• Aid in receiving deliveries, food storage, and inventory management
• Uphold food presentation and timing standards during live service

Requirements

• Up to 10 years of experience in banquet kitchens, catering, or high-volume restaurant environments
• Local candidates only. Reliable transportation is a must

• Strong sense of teamwork and professionalism
• Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and holidays as events require

Skills

• Culinary training a plus but not required—attitude and ability matter most
