Position Summary & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to understand financial operations and requirements.
- Consult with clients on using various technological tools to improve business processes.
- Configure the Banner financial module to meet business needs.
- Provide expertise in using Banner to improve and automate business processes within the finance office at a college or university.
- Aid in testing and implementation of financial software.
- Troubleshoot issues related to system usage, configuration, and data integrity.
- Provide end-user training and support documentation.
- Stay updated on industry changes and recommend system enhancements to increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years working within the Higher Education Industry.
- 5 or more years of experience working with Ellucian Banner, demonstrating advanced user proficiency.
- Experience implementing the Banner Finance module at a college or university.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, including general accounting, budgeting, and purchasing within the higher education industry.
- Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business processes and demonstrating success in creating efficiency.
- Ability to troubleshoot functional issues within Banner and communicate user requirements to the technical support team.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven customer service approach.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing project-based work.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant.
Pay Transparency
- The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 + bonus.
