Bankruptcy Paralegal
About the role
A top Am Law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal with 3+ years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience. This role will manage case files, monitor dockets and deadlines, draft bankruptcy filings, prepare fee applications, conduct legal research, and provide trial and hearing support.
Responsibilities
- Manage case files and monitor dockets and deadlines
- Draft bankruptcy filings and prepare fee applications
- Conduct legal research and provide trial and hearing support
Requirements
- 3+ years of law firm experience with restructuring/bankruptcy matters
- Strong knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, CM/ECF filings, and court rules
- Experience preparing pleadings, proofs of claim, fee applications, and court filings
- Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Notary certification is a plus
