Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and approve bankruptcy pleadings.
- Handle all stages of bankruptcy matters, including: Proofs of Claim, Motions for Relief, Objections and Responses, Payment Change Notices, Settlements and Adversary Proceedings.
- Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (telephonic and in-person).
- Maintain regular communication and updates with clients.
- Support special projects and additional legal tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active licensure in good standing with the Georgia State Bars.
- Experience managing a high-volume bankruptcy caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, client-service mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with adversary proceedings, payment change notices, or mediation.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems and client portals.
- Availability to attend in-person court hearings or depositions as needed.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
