Banking Specialist I/Teller

About the role

The Banking Specialist I will serve as a primary representative for the branch in processing paying/receiving transactions for client requests and supporting basic client servicing requests.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong client servicing skills, supporting the Bank's core courtesy standards
• Engage in basic conversational discovery with a client, aligning the needs of the client with the appropriate solution recommendation, client value recognition and commitment in a repeatable fashion to support assigned goal attainment
• Possess good judgement to ensure a sound balance of maintaining all areas of risk while also considering the client experience
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to security procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical and interpersonal relations skills
• Strong attention to detail and be organized
• Clear understanding of bank products and services to cross-sell to clients

Preferred

• Prior cash handling experience
• Familiarity with bank products and services preferred
