About the role
The Banking Solutions Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and personalized banking experience to clients in Kansas City. This role requires a combination of technical skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of banking products and services.
Responsibilities
- Build and deepen client relationships by providing consistent, high-touch service across all transaction types.
- Open, close, and maintain personal and business accounts and products accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve service failures independently, identifying root causes and offering solutions based on customer needs.
- Support deposit and loan growth through proactive outreach and consistent follow-up.
- Own service recovery and problem resolution, ensuring customers feel valued and their issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Two or more years of retail banking experience with exposure to complex client relationships and real operational responsibility.
- Comfortable using core banking systems, teller platforms, digital service tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong judgment to recognize when to close an opportunity yourself and when to bring in a subject-matter expert or business-line partner.
- Self-motivated with accountability, follow-through, and the ability to protect confidential information.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Proficiency in core banking systems and digital tools.
