Responsibilities
- Banking Operations
- Oversee daily banking and cash management operations, including bank accounts, cash positioning, wire transfers, ACH, Positive Pay, and online banking services.
- Monitor account activity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Manage bank account maintenance, including account openings, closures, signer changes, and banking service updates.
- Banking Administration & Process Improvement
- Act as the primary liaison with banking partners and financial institutions.
- Develop and maintain banking policies, procedures, and controls.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service levels, and risk management.
- Coordinate banking setup and documentation for acquisitions, dispositions, new communities, and organizational changes.
- Financial Reporting & Projects
- Prepare banking reports, analyses, and operational metrics to support business decisions.
- Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and process automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other departments to support cash management objectives.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, coach, and develop Banking Processors while managing team workflow and priorities.
- Establish performance expectations, provide feedback, and support employee development.
- Promote a collaborative, customer-focused environment committed to continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, banking requirements, and audit standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Support internal and external audits by coordinating documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the subject matter expert for banking operations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to support organizational goals.
- Deliver exceptional service while upholding company values.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations, or corporate finance.
- 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Thorough knowledge of corporate banking operations, cash management principles, banking products and services, internal controls, and electronic payment methods, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, online banking platforms, Positive Pay, and fraud prevention practices.
- Prior banking experience with proficiency using online banking platforms and ERP/accounting systems preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational, project management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, evaluate operational issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, develop, and motivate employees while effectively managing departmental priorities and workflow.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and with external banking partners.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Pay
$90,000 - $100,000 per year
This position is contingent upon passing a background check, employment verification, and drug screening.
