Banking - Investment Banking, Summer Associate, Chicago (North America – 2027)

About the role

Citi’s Banking division is seeking Summer Associates to join its Investment Banking team in Chicago, IL. The Investment Banking group provides sector expertise and strategic advisory solutions, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic financings to corporate, financial service and public sector clients. The 10‑week program begins in June with a 1.5‑week intensive training, includes mentorship and networking events, and upon completion makes you eligible for a full‑time offer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry analysis and research to intelligently advise corporate clients
• Handle multiple banking projects while managing time and expectations
• Develop new business presentations

Requirements

• Pursuing an MBA from a top academic institution in the U.S.
• Relevant work experience

Pay

Salary range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00
