Responsibilities

  • Leading tax compliance efforts for banking and capital markets clients, confirming adherence to complex regulations
  • Developing strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize client tax positions and minimize risks of non-compliance
  • Overseeing the preparation and filing of tax returns, validating accuracy and compliance with current tax laws
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for tax strategy improvements
  • Collaborating with executive-level clients to shape engagements and drive business growth
  • Mentoring and guiding teams in the execution of tax compliance and planning projects
  • Promoting innovation and creativity in developing new tax solutions and structures
  • Cultivating relationships across the PwC Network to leverage collective strengths and maximize client satisfaction
  • Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
  • Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of experience
  • At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials

Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000.
  • Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
  • All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Pay
