Banking Attorney
About the role
The Financial Institutions Group at Warner is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Banking Attorney. Our team has a strong foundation of talented attorneys, and we are looking to add another professional who will contribute to our ongoing growth and client service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Represent banks and other financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions
- Provide legal advice related to securities offerings and regulation under the '33 Act and ’34 Act
- Support corporate governance initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including federal and state regulatory applications
- Handle general corporate and banking matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 7+ years of experience providing legal advice to banks and other financial institutions
- Significant background in M&A, securities offerings and regulation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general corporate and banking matters
- Proven ability to lead and support transaction teams, build client trust, and foster long-term relationships
- Exceptional communication, responsiveness, and collaboration skills
