About the role

The Banking Associate role is a professional position within TD's banking services division. This role is responsible for delivering TD's brand promise at a store location, performing a wide range of tasks, and providing advice and educational support on banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer transactions and opens new accounts
• Provides consultative support and proactively recommends products and services
• Engages with customers to deepen relationships and manage customer expectations
• Services customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking
• Manages customer wait times and schedules appointments
• Manages self-generated and partner/retail to retail referral leads
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working with customers in any capacity
• Volunteering, education, or military experience preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Teller experience preferred
