About the role
The Banking Associate role is a professional position within TD's banking services division. This role is responsible for delivering TD's brand promise at a store location, performing a wide range of tasks, and providing advice and educational support on banking products and services.
Responsibilities
- Processes customer transactions and opens new accounts
- Provides consultative support and proactively recommends products and services
- Engages with customers to deepen relationships and manage customer expectations
- Services customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking
- Manages customer wait times and schedules appointments
- Manages self-generated and partner/retail to retail referral leads
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with customers in any capacity
- Volunteering, education, or military experience preferred
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Teller experience preferred
Qualifications
