Responsibilities
- Completes a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions and opening new accounts.
- Provides advice and educational support on banking products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Uses TD's systems and tools to engage with customers, aiming to build trust, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations.
- Accurately completes everyday banking transactions, uncovering customer financial needs and educating on products, services, and tools.
- Serves customers on the teller line and platform, handling tasks such as opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking.
- Connects with customers, provides financial advice, and deepens relationships through lead management activities like creating and managing self-generated leads, managing partner referrals, and setting/applying for appointments.
- Manages wait times to meet with a Banker, schedules/reschedules/cancels client meetings, engages in lobby leadership, and represents the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Manages customer relationships by displaying product knowledge, actively listening to customer needs, and engaging in additional conversations to identify and offer solutions or referrals.
- Drives referrals to Store colleagues and partners to support the broader financial needs of customers.
- Ensures tasks are performed within established policy and procedures, successfully completes all required job-specific, compliance-related training, and ensures ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Teller experience preferred
- Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
- Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Notary License preferred
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: One year experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, military experience preferred)
- Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills, ability to work during operating hours, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Notary License preferred
