About the role

The Banking Associate role is located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, United States of America. This position is available full-time and requires a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Processes customer transactions, opening new accounts, and providing educational support on banking products and services.
  • Delivers end-to-end advice to customers, building trust through educational content and tools, and providing consultative support.
  • Uses TD's systems and tools to engage with customers, acquiring and deepening relationships by offering advice and guidance.
  • Accurately completes everyday banking transactions, uncovering customer financial needs and educating on products, services, and tools.
  • Serves customers on the teller line and platform, handling tasks such as personal deposit account opening, everyday bank transactions, debit and credit card issues, and mobile/on-line banking.
  • Manages customer relationships by establishing and nurturing connections, managing wait times, and scheduling appointments.
  • Manages self-generated and partner referrals, and engages in lead management activities like outbound calls, SMS, and appointment setting.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and policies, maintains accurate records, and responds promptly to external audits and regulatory requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience working with customers in any capacity.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One year of experience working with customers in any capacity.
  • Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and within deadlines, sound judgment in decision making and problem solving, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Notary License preferred.
