About the role

This position involves providing exceptional sales and client service support within a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with teller and platform operations, processing financial transactions and opening deposit accounts.
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations, recommending suitable products and services.
• Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
• Cross-sell banking products, make referrals, and participate in outbound client/prospect calls.
• Support clients with loan applications and facilitate hand-offs to appropriate staff.
• Research and resolve client inquiries, ensuring high-quality service and prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, regulations, and internal controls.
• Assist with daily operations, audit controls, and on-the-job training for new associates.
• Stay informed of operational updates and contribute to operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience as a Teller.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with 10‑key calculator.
• Proficiency with coin counters.
• No specific licenses required.
