About the role
TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution located in Fort Riley, KS.
Responsibilities
- Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
- Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
- Absorb and assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
- Perform platform banking functions.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, customer service.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Communication skills: effective in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Schedule
Full-time/40 hours per week. Must be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-1:30pm. Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
