About the role

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller to work with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution at the branch located at 1080 Temple Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The position is anticipated to close on September 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts (checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts), lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 1‑3 years of cash handling experience in in‑person customer service, retail, or banking industry.
• Bank Teller experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.42 per hour (fixed rate).

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Must be available Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am‑2:30 pm; may be required to work 2‑3 Saturdays per month based on business needs.
