About the role
TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Augusta, GA 30909.
Responsibilities
- Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
- Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
- Aid members with submitting applications for consumer/mortgage/equity loans, overdraft protection, and credit cards.
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
- Ensure proper handling of cash and other negotiable instruments.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
- Perform platform banking functions.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of banking experience, preferably in retail and customer service.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Schedule
Full-time/40 hours per week. Must be available Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-1:30pm. Expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business needs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
